I don't actually have a jeep now. I'm looking at getting one. What size drag link socket do I need to keep the steering tight? These are getting hard to find and I want to make sure I can get the tools.
Thanks in advance,
Tom Z

Tom,

I have never used a drag link socket in 40 plus years working on these old jeeps. Just a big flat head screw driver and a adjustable wrench.

I had no idea such a tool existed!  I used a big washer held in a vice grip...

Thanks Stev. The very first Craftsman tool set I got came with a drag link socket. Never knew what it was for as I was working on '60's vehicles.

I got screwdrivers.

I've got two different sizes of Drag link sockets, but I always use an adjustable wrench and a quarter..
