Hi Tim,
Do you still have gasket sets available for the Dualmatic hubs? I need enough to rehab 2 pairs of the tall style hubs and one spare set to have for 'shimming' to allow the levers to turn freely on the one set of hubs that I have that are difficult. Please let me know the price for gaskets for 3 pairs of hubs shipped to zip 80538 and how you handle payments. Thank you!  Jim

Hi Tim, received the gaskets and lock washers.  They are perfect! Thanks a million! Also, many thanks for the additional literature regarding the hubs. Great info!

I have a Dana 27 axle and would like to buy a set of freehubs. Best only primed, because I'll paint them in the color brown olive.
How much does a set of unclusive shipping to Germany cost? Thanks and greetings to all.

Of course I would like to introduce myself first. I, Andreas 52 years old come from Münster / Germany and have been restoring a M38A1 for 4 years. So slowly I'm in the final phase. greetings

Andreas, willkommen auf der Website. Vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage zu Dualmatic Allradnaben. Leider habe ich diese Naben nicht. Nur einige Reparaturteile. Vielleicht möchten Sie Ebay nach ihnen suchen. Danke, Tim

Tim, nice work there on sourcing someone to provide you and us "user's-but-not-abuser's" a high quality replacement part for our jeeps.
Hahaha, we all know we would never abuse our jeeps in a moment of Desperation.

I grew up in a '53 Willy's pickup powered by that little F-134 engine.
YES, the pickup had Dual-matics. My god, I had to take a bunch of tools to use as "persuaders" to get the lever-bars popped out to then Rotate them.
Yep, my dad was not a person to do periodic service maintenance, and so the hubs were most difficult to operate. I think I had to physically loosen the hub bolts on occasion to get the arms rotated from free-to-lock position.

I have a few thoughts rattling around in my brain:
1. I have quit using locks on my Warn hubs because no matter what I do, the hubs always loosen-up. Therefore, with no locks, I can quickly snug the bolts up while on the trail.
2. There is so much torqueing of the hubs while the vehicle rocks fore and aft because of the terrain, the Gaskets always become 'scrubbed' thin or spit-out from constant rotational movement.
I have thought about this over the years, and my final conclusion is why doesn't someone, or why hasn't someone produced a hub gasket sandwiched with a metal layer like a nice Fel-pro exhaust collector gasket ?
These would get 'scrubbed' of course but the metal layer would not allow the gasket to spit-out.   In the case of the collector gaskets, the metal reinforced Fel-pro gaskets are the only ones I have had good success with.
A thought:   Tim, I am certain you have looked into this, and my guess is that the thickness may be an issue ?

Those cleaned-up Duals with fresh bolts and decal sure look Nice !!

Have you considered a new hub body made on a CNC machine.

Tim, thank you for providing your products !

    Len

Hi Tim,
PM sent to buy some gaskets and washers. I'm sure glad I found you! Thanks!

I could also use some replacement springs and ball-bearings for the lever detents. I measured my rusty balls at .250 and the rusty springs at 3/16" o.d. and 1/2" long. Thought I'd ask maybe you have these too? Or might know a source? Thanks again!
