Tim, Your mail received today. Perfect! Thanks for making these rare parts available. A question if I may? Do you know if Dualmatic originally assembled or recommended servicing the cavity for the detent ball and spring dry or maybe with a dab of grease to fight neglect and corrosion? Thanks again!

Ron, I use WD-40 Silicone spray. Nothing heavy like grease. A little lightweight oil would suffice. I’ve had two NOS sets and they were lightly oiled, no grease.

Hi Tim, I bought a set of the Dualmatics, but have no bolts or gaskets. They are for a Land Rover Series IIA, which I have been told uses 3/8 x 20 x 3.75" BSF bolts. I'm a bit skeptical that they are 3/8 x 20 and not 3/8 x 16. Would you happen to know where I can source the bolts. As far as the gaskets, I presume yours would work irrespective of what vehicle they're installed in. Would you agree?

Per Dualmatic installation instructions, 25 ft lbs. Don't over tighten or you will "crush" the top cap and cause lever engagement issues.
I just saw you PM.
