Starting this to document my first Car my 46 2A Trigger. I got her March of 2019 and slowly have been fixing her up with my hope for a full factory restoration.

I'll add some more data and photos tomorrow

You are off to a good start. I started many decades ago. Enjoy the learning.

Hi Gabe,

I have a 45 2A and live near Grants Pass, OR. If you need any photos of mine, let me know. Some of the photos have already been posted on this site. The grandkids have named my jeep Rustee.

Looks like a great jeep,

Frank

The story I got when I bought it was that in 1946 a avocado farm in the San Fernando Valley bought it new. it spent its time in Cali till at least to 1986 ( that is what the tag on the Cali plates says). A Oregon farmer then purchased it and brought it up to the Eugene area of Oregon where the previous owner bought it did some engine work then sold it to me.

Nice Jeep.  Many of us had a old Willys for a first car.  Do yourself a favor - whatever happens, don't sell it...  Wish I kept mine...

Dang, that thing is cherry compared to my '47 Rat Patrol
 Nice!
Is that a Solex carb on there?  Does not look like a Carter WO

I agree with the others, don't sell it. Wish I would have kept my old 1970 Bronco pickup.

Yes it is a Solex. Was having problems with ignition and gas when I first got Trigger so I threw the Solex on. I do have the original and plan on rebuilding it soon but you know the saying "if it aint broke dont fix it".
