Is that the flywheel you used?  I found one from a odd fire that weighs about 50 #.  Great low RPM torque.

Vega taillights ......been a little while since I've seen those on anything!

Jeep's got a good 'usable' look to it.

There is almost 1" of body putty between those taillights & any metal. Notice no body seams

I see I'm not the only one who caught the Vega taillights.  Smile

It came with the winch when I bought it. It's made by Smittybilt. I don't know if they still offer it for sale.

Really liking this build. With the pace your keeping in getting this project completed is giving me a complex. I'm scrolling through thinking, "Gezz what a lazy POS."
(Thinking of myself of course) LOL

Those 225/231 engines are awesome, I'll always had a soft spot for those. I had a 225 Odd Fire but I've never owned an even fire.

If if makes you feel any better this project is now at a snails pace. I've been busy with my 2A out on the trails. (SMORR, CFFC Fall Color Tour & others) I'm now fixing all the 2A broken thing. Back to it soon I hope

Things are still moving slowly. MooCow came over a couple of times to do the wiring for me. Last night we got most of the wiring finished. We turned the key & fired up Roxanne for the first time. The engine ran pretty well in spite of the cold. A leaky fuel line, bad power steering pump & a few vacuum leaks all need to be fixed. Then it's finish the steering column & bleed the brakes. It was great to hear the engine run after working on things for so long. I still hope to get it finished in time to take it to Rush Springs Ranch the end of April.

A little more than 2 1/2 years later Roxanne is able to creep out of the garage under her own power. I still have a lot of little things to do, but it's fun to drive around the neighborhood. A shakedown cruise this weekend. If nothing falls off or brakes maybe just maybe Rush Springs next weekend. Robert's data plates might be the only shiny thing on this Jeep. He does nice work.

Well... Roxanne didn't make it to The Willys Rush. The test drive only lasted about 10 minutes. The second photo is an "exploded" view of the front locker.
