Yes, hoping to see some more progress on this very interesting Jeep build.

Can hardly wait until the engine build commences.

We assembled the Dauntless over Christmas break. The engine is completely stock other than a high-volume oil pump kit. Once assembled we filled it with oil then primed it with a drill to verify oil flow to the rocker arm shafts and that it makes good oil pressure. Then unfortunately it has to set on the engine stand while Blueberry took over the shop for a couple months to get some pesky leaks fixed. The Dauntless is now all painted up and residing back in Elmo. This last weekend we got the accessories bolted back on it and made a material list of what we need to get to keep the assembly going together. Hoping to keep making some steady progress, but we have gotten to the expensive stage of the build and a few items we need have some long lead times.

Oops maybe I should have been more clear.

Hoping maybe Elmo will get some kind of fuel injection that I can copy.  Smile

We are going to put a 4.3L throttle body there. Not sure if we are going to control the fuel with a GM computer (equipped with a custom Prom chip) or if we will use a Microsquirt ECM. Either way we go it is going to be a learning experience for us.
