Empire Fuel Tank

   So I'm down to retiring the fuel tank on the Empire tractor. The ends of the tank were pretty decent, the rest of it was scrap. So I bent up some sheet metal and am going to solder the tank back together like it was originally.

I have not soldered sheet metal in probably 30 years. Does anyone do this that can offer some advice?

	Once soldered there are epoxy coatings that can be applied to both seal and protect it from the inside.

	It's done...have to check it for leaks and fix any up that I find.

	as for coatings I like Caswell for my vintage cycles that need it. However if the metal is good I never worry about it
