what year was this from, and am I reading it right? 

the question mark I think is a A

	well, that appears to be an engine number, of which sometimes Jeeps were titled using the serial number, and it would/could be engine # CJ-2A 22413, i think i see the faint remains of the "A"....which would be an early 1946 engine, and if original to your Jeep, should be a column shift Jeep....or at least it would have been column shift when new...low
