Hi,
I am in process designing and building a dual carb manifold for the L143.
I have 3D printed prototype flanges already. I need to get them cut and am trying to spread the cost across multiple sets. Construction will be mild steel. I am trying to decide how many flange sets to have CNC milled. Would anyone be interested in buying a built manifold? Just flanges? I am thinking it would be $300-350 for a built unit. This is not a commitment to buy, but I am gaging interest. I need to put out some cash and want to serve the enthusiast community and get a small multi-piece discount.

I'd be curious to see one of these. I've been toying with this idea for a while.

I would possibly be interested. I can’t wait to hear more and possibly see photos.

Here is the direct link. He used a pair of YF carburetors. He also tried this on his other 3A with a pair of WOs, but he never showed us that setup. He is quite a clever young gentleman.

He went on to say that he finally gave up on the WO setup.....didn't ever get it right but that he loved the YF setup. |

athawk11, thanks for the repost. I am basically doing the same thing, but want to have CNC flanges. I'm curious how the cross-over was designed - I'll connect with garage gnome.
no fender, TateC - sounds like I need to fab some up before there is more interest - fair enough. I have to decide if I get some CNC milled to make a few - or just a 1-off set for me. thx for the interest. |

Curious why not going with aluminum? I am currently working on a cast aluminum intake that will mount a Weber DGV. I have it done except for TIG welding the two halves together (its split in the Plenum to add a spacer) Its designed to use a Weber DGV 32/36 progressive 2bbl. If I ever get it to my welder friend I can have it done in a week.
