Hope none of our flat fender friends and/or their homes were caught up in the fires tonight!

Terrible.

Indeed it is, I seen it with my own eyes 👀 , I spent yesterday morning with BW at his place north of Greeley and as I was driving there from the east I noticed a large white plume to the south and assumed it was some mountain fog or like thing, after I left his place (while fighting a terrible pull on the car towards Nathrop 😂) it was much more intense and the radio said it was a terrible fire 🔥 as I drove north I could still see it from the Wyoming border in the twilight… Thoughts & prayers with all involved, radio said over 300 homes & businesses covering 1600+ acres of residential area 🥲

The Marshall fire is Southeast of Boulder moving Eastward. Terry and Ginny live west of Boulder, I believe. I think Lew and Frankie Ladwig live in Louisville (I could be wrong - hope so) which is in the fires path. Hopefully Lew’s jeeps are at his shop in Erie.
Hopes and prayers are up for all involved, including first responders.

Just got internet back. We are at 6000' and west of the fires several miles. We could see a dozen homes burning at a time and estimates are now going up to a possible 1000.

I got a text from Lew yesterday.  He said the fires stayed about two miles from their house in Louisville.  The shop in Erie is farther away.

The other Bruce in CO

Dang, that's close!   Two miles is nothing with the high winds they had.
