Ben,
I love how you work your jeeps.
When you going to come to Moab and play with them?
We have an awesome time during Easter Jeep Safari.

Hey Flatfender Ben,
Can you post a picture of the doors that go with that top? I have a top similar to yours, and would like to see what the doors look like. The top I have has no manufactures name plate on it anywhere that I could see.
Thank, Mark

Oilly.
Thanks for another great story, that sounds like a tight spot you where in.
I will remember to be carful on needles.
 Stan.
I can’t wait to someday bring a flatfender to Moab and join in.
 Mark.
I’m missing the piece that the doors mount to but here’s the doors.

Desert Dog's latest job.

Electrical service vehicle.
Hauled supplies out to wife’s rabbit barn and installed plugs and lights.

Hey Flatfender Ben,
My doors are about the same except the bottom curve is really short. Not as long of a curve like yours. How do you have the top fastened at the top of the windshield?
Thanks, Mark

No rest for the Dog! Is there any task on an Oregon farm that this dawg can't handle?

I moved my blue jeep from the shop to the garage.
My hope is that I will work on my ole yellar jeep.
I used harbor freight moving dollies to get it over against the wall.
While they did the job I don’t know how long they would last for regular use.

Tucked in for winter.

I think I'd be most concerned that the dollys' wheels would become D-shaped before too long.
There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable

I've been using theHF wood mover dollies to build rolling pallets for my tiller, snow plow, forks, cultipacker, and front mount hydraulic auger for my Kubota 5100MX; pretty heavy and big stuff, so, I use four dollies and PT 2x4 stringers  per implement. Been in use for 4 years, on a fairly smooth concrete floor with no problems so far. Really simplifies storage and attaching. So far, so good.
Also have four ratchetting car dollies from HF for my CJ2A and M38. Work great, on a good floor. Wheels are all still round and roll/swivel fine.

Back to work on fencing!!

The heavy sage ripped the rusty hat channel loose.

Using the jeep makes the work fun.
But nothing makes pounding close to 50 steel posts in an afternoon FUN!!!!
No need for cross fit, when you have farm fit!!Confused

I left desert Dog down at the fence corner yesterday.
And today it looks like this!!

The first thing I did was get crossed up and spin out.... these tires are not nearly as good as the old desert dog tires. Cry

Nothing a little ram jamin and wheel spin couldn’t fix.

Things I made note of today.......
#1 when driving through a gate when there’s snow on the ground, don’t spin sideways and( almost ) hit the gate post.

#2 Before you get all excited about the snow and start doing power slides across the bumpy pasture.....REMEMBER you removed the tail gate, so now your tools are falling out! And there’s half a roll of barb wire hanging off the back of the jeep!!!
