Flatfender Farms fall 2022 event

   Hey there fellow Flatfender friends.

I'm planning a fall event on Saturday October 8th with a rain date of October 24th, at my place in Hudson Wisconson that we call Flatfender Farms. For those that haven't been here, I have about 20 acres of hilly wooded trails.  No big rocks or mud. The trails are short, leading to hilly, wooded, sometimes tight obstacles.

Flatfender Farms has earned a small reputation for causing body damage, and my collection of broken axle and driveshafts is growing. If you're going to hit the obstacles, seat belts and roll bars are required, but if you just want to putz around in your Flatfender on my wooded trails, factory flatties are fine. 

Feel free to show up anytime after 8am, we'll hit the trails at 9, and we'll probably go to about 3 or 4pm. Bring a lunch, you can eat it on the trail. Feel free to use my garage fridge to keep your lunch or drinks cold.

Plenty of room for trailers, and a welder and air compressor are on site.

If it's raining more that a sprinkle, the event will be rescheduled.  Make sure to let me know you're coming because I'm going to imit it to 20 trucks, (no limit on passengers) but if I don't get at least 5 trucks, we'll probably reschedule.

	On Saturday we had the event and it went great! The weather was perfect, and a fun time was had by all 14 trucks that came out. We had 4 or 5 buggies, some with rear steer, and a good mix of CJ's, TJ's and JK's. The trails were pretty easy and we were able to hit all the hills and be done by about 2pm. We did have to pull the winches a few times, had one rig flop over on its side, and broke what we believe to be a front ring and pinion. I did make a video (that turned out longer than I like at 21 minutes) and thought I'd post it here if you wanted to see it.
