U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum Newsletter November 2021 The Museum is open Wednesday - Saturday 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. To set up a tour call the Museum at 256-883-3737 during Museum hours. Museum News RECOGNITION OF THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY JEEP: (Pygmy) In October the U. S. Veterans Memorial Museum, received a Plaque from the Hagerty Drivers Foundation, designating our 1940 Ford Pilot Model GP, No. 1, (Pygmy) as No. 8, on the National Historical Registry Vehicle by the United States Department of the Interior, Historic American Engineering Record, No. Al-213. The plaque will be displayed with the (Pygmy) on the Museum floor. This is an official certification and recognition of the Pygmy's lineage.

I had a chance to check out this museum a few years ago on a work trip. If anyone is ever in the Huntsville, AL area, its definitely worth checking out!
If I remember, in addition to the Pygmy they also have a 1st series GP, MA, BRC and a slat grill MB.
