In other words, I do not think you need to change your photo hosting site. |

Yes, that is going to be fun to make some beautiful trail round in the nature! It is a box T-90. Best that would be to find a frame MB and to restore all this! To see... |

If you are happy with it that's what matters! Have fun, looks like it should be a great little jeep, Incorrect maybe but still lots of fun and capable of some good offroad times!
Have you figured out if it is a T-90 transmission or the earlier gearbox from WWII?

No. Your engine, body & frame did NOT come from the factory that way.
A "CJ-2" is not the same as a "CJ-2A". The "CJ-2" was a pre-production experiment vehicle. Many different parts from MB were used while trying to find the right combination to go to production with. The "CJ-2A" was the final production vehicle sold to the public. It did NOT have MB engines or bodys (but some pieces were the same as used on MB). Sean

Yes I know that but I wanted to know if there had been a series of CJ2 with "rests" of MB. I thought of the very first CJ2...
It is for it that I ask to specialists |

MB body
MB Engine CJ-2A frame, front & rear axles are CJ type, not MB

The bed that Russ is referring to is the rear floor of the Jeep. It is the area behind the front seats to the rear of the tub or body.
That is a nice looking Jeep! |

can you post some pictures of the bed interior? and the engine area?
From what I can see it looks like a MB/GPW tub, and Ford leaf springs. |

It sounds like a jeep salad, with both 2A and MB parts used. It would not have left the WIllys factory with a MB tub or engine... Was it sold to you as a WWII jeep or a 2A ? What did the seller have to say about what it was? It is not unusual to have a mix of parts as flatfender parts from many years can be made to work together fairly easily. THE problem comes when titling a mismash like that, and when ordiering parts you have to know what each part was from.
The engine is likely to be chain drive, a 2A of that chassis number would have been a gear drive camshaft which makes a quieter and more durable engine. However a MB owner might pay a premium price to have a correct MB engine, as many MB engines have been replaced with postwar ones....
Try photobucket or webshots for pics..

Me too Hamhog. What a bunch of crap. Something with the Swiss and viruses/trojans it seems. While back while researching landjeager sausage a Swiss site wrecked my computer with "security tool" and other malware. Sure hope this one didn't screw me.
Clean up your act (photos) or leave please.
