   My Dad gave me this CJ-2A in 1964 when I was 13, to drive around the 
farm in. It was painted olive drab at that time. He sold it a couple of 
years later to put the money towards a car for me. In 2005, I happened 
to find out who owned it and bought it back from him. It had been 
painted yellow and had not run in several years and the engine is locked
 up. I have kept it out of the weather since I got it back. I have just 
now gotten to where I have some time to work on it with my son.  The frame seems to be in excellent condition for its age and
 the tub looks like all it needs is the front floor pan and maybe some 
work in the area in front of the side steps. The "Willys" marked 
tailgate and hood are in very good shape. The windshield is in excellent shape and is now a one piece 
glass with the vent in the center below the glass. All the data plates are missing 
except the small body tag and "Bubba" drilled a hole through the center 
of it to mount a solenoid, so all I can read on it is, "Willys, CJ2A and
 what looks like 20Bubba hole52" which doesn't match the title VIN. If 
you hold it in the light correctly you can read "Willys Overland" etc. 
at the bottom. The engine numbers are J-87964 on top behind water pump, date with
 clock 12-20 and casting number of 638632-W3/A-N1-CR-N2 and it has a CC 
over the W. My first step will be to pull the engine and try to figure 
out why it is locked up. I am posting some photos, one taken on Christmas morning 1964 with my younger
 brother and me next to this Jeep in our pajamas (yes, I was a goofy kid with a flat top) and one with our Dad who passed away in 2006. I'm glad I bought the Jeep back in 2005 and he was able to see it. The photos with the tub still on were taken in 2005 and the others are recent, since my son and I started working on it.
