Thanks Rob and Ben.
I'm back at it today. This multi-year tub, along with sheet metal work from myself and a previous owner has left the passenger rear corner have the flatness it should have. I am attempting to help this. I dont need it to be perfect because it never will be I just would like it improved. Still need to get some tubing for the floor mount brace but will be patching the floor. Trying to save as much metal as I can.

Some days I didn't work on the Jeep when the weather was nice. Tacos, beer and this sunset.

Work stuff and the hot water tank went out at home and rainy/cold days did not motive me much to start metal work.
Sunny weather especially on my days off changed that. Firewall had many holes added to it over the years, some that I'm guilty of. Want it to be a little more presentable. Before: After: Not perfect but neither is this Willys. Also trying to use up all my primer paint while also looking for a new color.

I'm horrible at keeping this updated. Time to bring the build up to date.
Moved the tub to start metal work. |

Finally got around to putting the drawbar I got from 44bz (Zach) on. Also started it up for the first time in a while, it has been sitting dormant waiting for warmer weather. I'm looking forward to spring and less rain!

Interested to see how your fenders look when stripped of filler.
I’m thinking it sounds like a good idea. I would rather see dents and holes than cracked filler 1/2” thick! I might have to follow your idea on my 3B has it has lots of cracked filler on it.

Throught the course of time from new, my fenders were hit, cracked and dented. A lot of filler was added by a previous owner and may have looked good at one time but not anymore. I bought these fenders at the 2013 Willys reunion, I only scuffed up the paint and covered the red that they were to the green I used. Saturday and Early today used heat and scrappers to remove the paint. I straightened up the metal some, welded holes and cracks up and will continue on them somemore at work tomorrow. I will not be using any body filler and leaving all the many little imperfections where they are at. I'm not a body or metal guy so this should be an interesting

All brakes are now connected and bled system. All shoes and hardware is on, I may wait until just before I yard drive to put the drums back on. Driveshafts are bolted on as well. Had to add shims to the rear as the driveshaft bound up just slightly.

Looking forward to a dry weekend. The rain, wind, cold and having roughly an hour of daylight after work are not big motivators for me to work on this.
