This is where I bought my engine from.

They are in Cali, I know because I paid the shipping.
I'm happy with the engine.

Everything else was a PITA. No paper work came with it (warranty was promised but nothing sent), no numbers on the engine at all (removed during rebuild? No idea), they received my core then told me it wasn't good enough for the deposit (needed cylinders resleeved... which is why I needed a replacement...), took them about 2 months to ship, absolutely sucked at communication, and after everything I probably spent more on the engine/shipping/core than I had into the entire Jeep at that point.

Since you're in Cali and could probably face-to-face with them you'd probably have an easier time. For me the experience was less than stellar but in the end I did receive a quality product.

Hillbilly....
Come to think of it... I thought it was a bit out of the ordinary that I hadn't seen anything on the page about him, his shop or his work. I'd be curious to find out what the present status is and post results here.
Thanks surveypunk for digging up this post !
