Yes I plan on being at the Fall Reunion!

Thats no golf course.  Just a lot next to the high school where I grew up.  We have had a decent amount of rain so far this year.

The other main event at the Purple Hull Pea Festival

Hauled the jeep on its first long haul.  Every year my dad puts the John Deere 60 in a local festival tractor show.  I go with him every year and this year the guys running the tractor show wanted me to bring the 48 Willys.  I had some old Farm Jeep ads printed on foam board showing a jeep pulling plows and harrows.  It got lots of attention!  Im parked next to the John Deere 60 that I restored for dad.

I had my first long drive today. Everything seemed to work great. The jeep cruises right along at 40-45 mph. I had a couple of issues. My speedometer was working great until it started bouncing pretty bad and the my pointer broke off. I guess I'll have to get a reproduction gauge. I thought my oil pressure was running low at idle but the needle kept bouncing. I hooked up my other oil gauge and took it for another ride and it's back to 30-35 at speed and right at 10 at idle hot. I think that will be OK for now. Engine isn't rebuilt. I put around 40 miles and got lots of waves!

Yes, the slots will move the larger pivot bolt up or down which tips the top forward or rearward. Otherwise, you have to bend the arms to tilt it back.  On WW2 Jeeps and CJ2A's, they were not slotted. CJ3A's and M38's were. You can grind or slot them if they aren't. John

I have the slotted brackets that came with the repo tub.  Are you saying I can use those and get the windshield to tilt back some?

Jeep looks good.  Where did you end up getting your tub and sheetmetal from?
