Art, I just spit soda all over my screen.   The green 75 is solid as a rock. It was built here in STL and never left. It was rust proofed when it was new and that is my only guess. The Yellow 76 is from the west coast.

How are you finding vans that old that aren't rusted away to nothing?
There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable

Actually, it does not make that noise.  I remember that noise, growing up my dad drove Dodges.

So Doug, does this thing have the 'err, err, err, di, di, di di' starter in it? You know the one where you hope it catches or you have to wait for about 20 seconds for it to stop spinning. I always knew when our neighbor had trouble starting his Dodge work van in the mornings...

BTW, I really need a rear bumper for this van, if anyone knows of one (long shot, I know) give me a yell.

Funny, that Hot Rod with the gull wing van on the cover is in the first batch you sent me. Do you have two of every issue?  Wink  I am not sure how much the first batch contributed to the madness, but I told Jean that's where it came from.Big smile

I like those 70s vans, that grille always reminds me of my families motorhome back in the eighties. Im putting a big block in my 80s dodge truck right now. It will pull the cj around better haha.

I've got a 'Purple Shaft'  small block cam straight out of the old Direct Connection catalog, still in the box when decide to build the motor.

It's a Street Hemi spec cam for a small block....always wanted to hear that thing!

My EARLY years- late 70's. Beside's my friends loving the picture of me with a mullet and dark hair, the airbrushed mural on the van really dates the picture. That van screams "PARTY TIME".

There is a guy on one of the van forums that is doing that right now.  That might be something for down the road.
