Stan, grandpa's Jeep is one of the reasons I chose them. Since a couple of you have mentioned tires, this is another photo I took at same time. It does not show the mountains, but a better view of the brand new tires. |

I love the look of your Jeep. Just my opinion, but I don't usually think roll bars look good in the Flatties. However, with the bikini top yours really pulls it off. Looks great!

THANKS !! I agree, roll bars ruin the look of Flatties, but the bikini does a good job of "hiding" it. Even though these roll bars might not give great protection, I will not remove it. Without it, I can imagine my body would not feel good at all, if I ever rolled it over.

It there a new "hunt"? I may have missed it. If the subject is not one of these: "Jeep in rain" "Jeep in flood" "Jeep in wind" or "Jeep in storm-damage clean-up"
I may not be able to participate over the next week or so. |

I was wondering about the next hunt too. Jerry 45 was first to post jeep on country road. I think that makes him the next to choose? Joe W

They are not that good of a tire. Old army guys called them "Grave Diggers". I believe JPet has had his siped. That would be a great improvement. |

He did that a couple years ago but his newest ones he's cut so they look like a BFG mud tire of some kind.

I think that Jpet and I and many others here have shown that NDTs are petty darn good as long as you know what you have and what they can do. And they look the coolest and most correct of any tire on a flat fender. Don’t try to ice race with them or run in soft sand, but on rocks and rough terrain they are as good as anything and better than a lot. Just my opinion based on my limited experience. Your mileage may vary.

Let's jump start this thread again. It's that time of year that the seasonal ice cream shops are opening. Let's see your Jeep at an ice cream shop!

Couldn't make my mind up on which place to go to so I did all three on Main St. There is American, Danish and Italian versions for you guys. Dog (Layla) is licking her lips in front of Paradise Ice Cream.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Great pics, especially like the last one. Looks like you've got a pretty good companion there. The next hunt is up to you.
