I got my welt material today.

Who is the current guardian? If you are finished with them, what do I need to do to get them out to me?

Sincerely,
Micah

They are similar to what I had seen and will likely be what I end up making albeit a little different.

Is there such a thing as a picture of these said pliers. Ive seen pictures of ones people have made but not of any "official" ones.
Clearly I will want to make my own but want a vague idea of what they "should" look like.

Pliers are back with nofender. I used them and returned them within the week. one tip, put a layer of duct tape on the top jaw to prevent scratching the rivet head.   best of luck.

Mark63, did you ever get the set shipped to you by Alaskanrocket????    Supposedly shipped back in Jan 2019....  must be cold in Alaska in January....

This is akin to herding rabbits.  This "lending program" fits the 'ol saw that, no good deed goes unpunished.
No Fender has waded in lending out his personal set, but we have some sets AWOL.   Anyone holding a set of pliers, no matter how long it has been, please declare them and lets move them on to the next users.

Gerry was asking for them originally, but I sent mine up to him and now they're on the way back.  I'm getting closer to needing them myself so I don't really have any timeline for sending them out right away again.  My free time comes in spurts so I never know when I have a chance to work on mine.

Also, no offense to Gerry, and I was happy to do it, but I don't think I'll go international again from the US even though it was Canada.  It was around $17 for shipping...which is half the price to buy the tool...lol.
