Well I dunno what these little brads are that they call rivets .   I threw them in the trash . Broke out the rivet gun and did it right.    It's not going anywhere .

I have a set that aren't part of the program, but i lend out now and again. Unfortunately we are moving and they are packed away until at least the 1st week in Sept.

Once we are settled, I will be in a position to lend them out. But again - need to be shipped direct back to me.

Great thanks. That timing is ok with me. Loaning specialty tools that aren’t used regularly is a great idea but it only works if the tool is returned. So no problem I will certainly ship them back to you. Do you want me to get back to you in early September or will you get back to me?

I have a chronic case of CRS. So reminding me with a PM would be great.

I have access to my pliers now. I can't recall who asked me for them initially. So send me a PM if you still need to use the pliers and I'll sort through who gets them first.

Just remember - ship direct back to me.

Thanks.

Gerry was asking for them originally, but I sent mine up to him and now they're on the way back.  I'm getting closer to needing them myself so I don't really have any timeline for sending them out right away again.  My free time comes in spurts so I never know when I have a chance to work on mine.

Also, no offense to Gerry, and I was happy to do it, but I don't think I'll go international again from the US even though it was Canada.  It was around $17 for shipping...which is half the price to buy the tool...lol.

Mark63, did you ever get the set shipped to you by Alaskanrocket????    Supposedly shipped back in Jan 2019....  must be cold in Alaska in January....

This is akin to herding rabbits.  This "lending program" fits the 'ol saw that, no good deed goes unpunished.
No Fender has waded in lending out his personal set, but we have some sets AWOL.   Anyone holding a set of pliers, no matter how long it has been, please declare them and lets move them on to the next users.

Pliers are back with nofender. I used them and returned them within the week. one tip, put a layer of duct tape on the top jaw to prevent scratching the rivet head.   best of luck.
