I have posted a few questions on this forum but now that I have figured out how to load photos and use the forum I thought that I would introduce myself and project. About a month ago I bought this trailer for $250 and was able to tow it home behind my 2015 Jeep Wrangler 2 door JK! It towed great. I have gotten it ready for the sandblaster and hopefully next week that will be complete. The trailer is in great condition with only surface rust. It was missing the Fulton coupler repair kit, the landing leg and landing leg bracket and the Arrow-41 light.
Update on parts: I was able to buy my missing parts. Model A lights. $45 for the pair Landing leg with the landing leg swivel $120 Original Fulton 06 coupler complete with the 7/8 white ball for $40 I am going to upload some Photos to this message. Edited by CZander - 14 May 2016 at 9:19pm |

I am still learning how to use the photos. I need to figure out how to put captions with each photo. Sorry that I just uploaded without info.

Great score on the trailer. I have #17287 so just 139 trailers older than yours. You can also thank me for deleting "I'll take it" from my FB message the second I saw that coupler pop up. I really didn't need it but almost couldn't pass it up. Glad it went to a good home

Thanks. I was pretty excited to be able to find that part. I am now trying to locate all of the hitch bolts but the sizes are hard to find. Someone on the forum here came up with a nice list of bolts. McMaster Carr might have them. Any suggestions? Thanks

Great Trailer!
As for the captions...type your text hit the return key a couple times and then add you photo. Hit the return key a couple times and repeat...its that easy. |

I finally completed the new Fulton hitch asssembly, Landing leg swivel and the landing leg. The total cost was about $180. I am still so surprised that I found a original Fulton 06 coupler in the box for $40! I was not able to locate the original size bolts but bought some grade 8 similar to the original size. I still am working on preparing the trailer for sandblasting. Fun project!!

Where did you get the pivot casting for the landing leg (it looked new)?

I bought it from John at Midwest Military here in MN. He is a really nice guy to deal with. You should be able to find him on the Web.

Someone here on this forum gave me the idea about the lights. I bought them from Speedway Motors for around $22 each. They came quick in the mail and are real nice!
