Motor looks great. I took 21 yrs on and off. Didn't find this site until 2012, so I wish I had documentation from the start in my thread like you are doing. Great work. More pics

Gil thanks for the photos. You seem right on top of the body situation. How are you planning on making the seam weld on the side. I've taken on body work about as bad, in MI. it's a fact of life. I started reading this sight a day after I ordered hat channel and a floor riser made at the local sheetmetal shop. I gave up on restoration quality years ago, to many amateur repair jobs in the past. I planned on using my Tig welder to tack and 110v Millermatic to weld the seams. Really disappointed with the mig welder, way too cold. Best I could do was a bunch of spot welds. How many amp welder are you using? Any chance of more body work photos? Many thanks Wadoyado!

For the sim on the side I'm to drill holes and spot weld. The welder am using is a Miller Sidekick 110v with argon gas from the 80's still work go.The hat channels and floor riser was made at local sheet metal place for about $50.00 Canadian,my bender can't bent that gauge. Can't seem to send pictures from my HP computer. So took I-pad and took pictures of pictures, quality is no there.

Thanks again for the photos! My drivers side floor looks almost identical I'm using practically the same welder also, must be me?? What size wire are you using? Guess I'll go back and try again. Your photos have been an inspiration! Wadoyado!

Wire size is .023 and make sure you have proper gas for your weld.
