Just drug this home from Maine. Happy to find a forum to help in what will be a restoration of this trailer.

Doing some odds and ins to my trailer. Wheel bearings, New U-bolts for the springs, and making the landing leg operational.
One feature this trailer had was a spare tire holder under the bed. Based on the work, guess it was a PO addition, anyway got that all removed, it was no longer operational. I am left with a hole in the center of the bed. Based on the ribbing in the bed sheet metal I am guessing the bolt was part of the original design. Is that correct? Also looking for opinions on mounting a spare, Sometimes I will use this trailer without the jeep being in front. Have seen front mounts, rear mounts. Anybody put the spare up under the bed in the back? Thanks. Jon. |

I'm not aware of any holes (bolts) in an original T3-C bed floor... Unless it was a military bed. Then it would have 1 or 2 holes off to the sides depending on the type.
