It's amazing how quickly time flies by! We have been preparing for The Willys Jeep Rally all winter. We have acquired a backhoe Jeep truck and a Jeep truck with a drilling unit. We are performing maintenance on John Ittel's Jeeps so they will be ready for the demonstrations.
Pete has retired from his registration position after a long and successful run . Billy Elam is taking over the registration job. If you have any registration needs, you can contact Billy at: registration.thewillysjeeprally@outlook.com We are extremely please to announce that the speaker at our banquet will be Bill Norris. Bill and his son attended the rally last year, and Bill was impressed enough to agree to be our speaker this year. Bill Norris has been active in the Willys Jeep hobby since 1984 when
he acquired his first CJ2A. After he finished restoration of a 1947 model in
2002, he began researching the history of the company and its vehicles and
writing about them. His interest later led to the creation of the award winning
Holy Toledo! wall calendars in 2006 with fellow Jeep aficionado Kevin Banonis.
In 2014 Bill and Kevin were asked to take over publishing West Coast Willys'
'The Dispatcher' newsletter. They decided to accept the offer and converted it
from a publication printed three times a year to a quarterly magazine. In 2017,
'The Dispatcher' won the prestigious Richard and Grace Brigham award from the
Society of Automotive Historians for best automotive historical periodical. We hope you can join us at The Willys Jeep Rally on June 1 and 2, 2018. We are sure you will enjoy this one-of-a-kind Jeep adventure. The activities include a Friday afternoon trail ride and cookout, a Friday evening story hour, a Saturday night banquet, working Jeep demonstrations, a large swap meet and show field, food and fellowship. |

I'm planning on coming Saturday. Looks like I'm too late on booking a hotel room! Should have the Valentine NC-2 with my CJ3A/MB to tow it.

We contacted Hueston Woods about the availability of rooms at the Lodge for the show. There are rooms available for Thursday and Friday, May 31 and June 1, but all rooms are reserved for Saturday, June 2. There are two cabins available for Saturday, but no Lodge rooms.
There are several motels in Oxford, Ohio, which is only a few miles from Hueston Woods.
There is a camping ground at Hueston Woods, which can be reached at 1-888-644-6727. There may be some camping sites available, but that area also fills quickly. For those not pre-registered, you can register at the show and there will be a limited number of show shirts and hats available, first come, first served. We have received a most generous number of raffle and door prize items from our sponsors. We are planning as carefully as we can and hope you will be patient with any delays or weather issues. We look forward to seeing you at Hueston Woods on June 1 and 2. |

Another great show and already looking forward to next year. Sadly, I missed the equipment demo, but for very good reasons. I had my 3a with Newgren lift and the newly discovered American Bantam plow. Had a large number of visitors and stayed with the Jeep most of the time, both Friday and Saturday. Answered questions, heard great stories (some of which I'll be posting on farmjeep.com) and, as always, came away with valuable information.
Thanks to everyone involved in hosting the show and to those who stopped by. And I finally took the time this year for a beauty shot. Barry |

We had a blast! Great to see Agrijeeps taming the land as it was in the 40's. Thank you to everyone who checked out the Valentine NC-2 on its first outing since 1982.
