I am looking for a set of (8) Original round head slotted sheet metal screws that were used to attach the headlight Buckets to the grill.

Your post cause me to have one of those ??? moments. I thought they used stove-bolts and nuts, with the upper/inner nut welded to the grille. So I went out and checked all of my 2a's and spare grilles. I have one '45/'46 (first-design park lights) and it has bolts with nuts. Two '48s both have screws. Three '47s (low numbers) have bolts and two have screws. So it looks like one of those things that was changed mid-year, in '47. It seems like I remember working on one that had screws except for that one welded nut, which required a bolt, maybe it was a "transition" example. Hmmm. BW

I actually found a full set of 8 for you. However, they are a bit different of a design. They have a flatter head than what you pictured. I'm convinced these are original. But I want to be sure they are what you need/want.
Let me know if this type of screw will do. |

You guys are showing is round head and pan head screws. both, should be available from a decent hardware store along with the star washers. It really doesn't matter as when the trim rings are on, nobody will see them.
