Good job Ben, I'm proud to know others that have Jeep Disease. Yours is probably the worst I've ever seen. LOL  Your son ( I hope) will have it running in his veins too. His Grampa is pretty smitten also, so it's hereditary.

I've looked at the 150's allot and like the cute little pug faced Jeeps also. Just haven't wanted to do engine work in one. I once,  back about 1979 , ran into one in a customers back yard for $400.00 complete. Should have, could have, but didn't.  The one piece windshields are scarce as hen's teeth. First thing I always look at. Most are broken or delaminated.

I used to drive a 170 that was our winch truck with gin poles for moving propane tanks. I liked the feel it had sitting over the front wheels.

I'm quite sure you don't have enough time and space to restore all the Jeeps you have, unless you are the Jay Leno of Oregon. Wink  Oilly

Screaming good deal on the glass Ben. Put the windshield in it's own bedroom and lock the door . I'm happy you got it. Oilly

I have a lot of pics that I haven’t made time to post.

I’m super excited about my new jeep shop and can’t wait to pull the first project in!!
I plan on posting about the shop building sometime….

It was a extremely busy summer!
So Jeeps didn’t get worked on……. I did get tired of desert Dog running on three cylinders and barely limping up the driveway! I put a new plug in the front hole. The carb still needs some help.

Miller has been helping with farm work.

Miller doesn't stand a chance. He was born with Jeep blood in his veins------LOL

Grampa has it too, so a Jeep Empire is unfolding. I fully approve.

Of all the different kinds of vehicles, and there are many good ones, a Willys Jeep has provided my best times and adventures along with meeting the cream of the crop of good folks.

So which Jeep does Miller take a shine to??????

Oilly

Back in July I bought this Hobart welder at the scrap yard with a industrial L 134. I put a battery in it and poured gas Down the carb fires right up runs good no smoke.
My plan was to pull the engine out and scrap the welder…. But my Dad talked into keeping it complete as a welder.

Then in October I see one on an online farm auction.
In the description it didn’t say if it ran or not…… this one came on a two axle trailer with tool box.

When I got it home I opened the covers….. hoping I wouldn’t find a hole in the block or??? What I found was a brand new battery new coil and new electric fuel pump.
Hmmm interesting, I turned the key and started it up!!!
It did blow some blue smoke when it first started but the cleared up.

Okay I’m not making this up….. last week I see another online farm auction…. And guess what??
YEP another Hobart welder!!
Haven’t got this one unloaded yet!

It’s got a CJ engine based on the jeep head and skid plate oil pan, anxious to see if there’s any numbers above the water pump.
Doesn’t look like it run in a long time.

Oh yah I almost forgot a hot rod guy I know called today and said he has a supersonic L 134 out of a Henry J for sale… hmmmm
When it rains it pours I guess?
