My good friend Flatfender Ben, his dad Brian and I met up today at Idaho Motor Pool for the MV swap and show. Funny how a 30 something driven young man and a grizzled washed out old hippy connected so strongly. His dad Brian (also younger than me) and I are forging an even similar bond. Ben your friendship as well as Brian's is highly valued by this old jeeper..  Anyway me and Ben a-smilin..

I never met a mule I didn't like!

Thanks Muley
It’s great to have a jeep friend like you!
Smile

Dad bought this neat little stove at the swap meet.
It’s surprisingly HEAVY!!!
Thick cast iron 100 lbs +!!

The 2a had quite a load.
I had brought 3 five gallon gas cans to fill while in town.
And muley brought me a 15” Jeep wheel and tire.

This last picture is at Dads shop with his latest Chevy.

Alright new day.. Another adventure!!!
At estate auction right now.
I thought you might be interested to see one of my purchases!!!
Still buying tools and junk.
Haven’t had much  time to inspect my new Jeep.

Drove it onto the trailer with the starter.

It’s a bubba job for sure.

Give me your observations.

When I get back (3 hour drive) and hav time we’ll see who noticed the most!

Back to buying junk!

Yes and when you have a pto winch off a power wagon/or 6x6 you should definitely put it on the front of some poor little Jeep!!Confused

Ok here goes...
47 or later, can't tell whether 2A or 3A but it has a 3A windshield frame. Chevy V8 with a generator, duals and truck mufflers. Seat tank filler neck.hmmm.....rear gas tank. No taillights. Big bad Braden up front, whale tail rear bumper.:-) Only 1 seat. Rear tires different tread than front. Looks like 7.50x16's. Dual horns. stock axles, although can't tell what's goin on with the tie rod. Aftermarket springs.
The honey pot on the trailer tongue is a nice touch.:-)

What a good picture of the cam gear oiler, while your there check the hole diameter and reduce it down to the Service Letter specs of .040.  Looks like you have alot of miles on that engine judging from the gear wear!

Belleview ol skool winch soon.

Looks like this jeep belongs on the 2a page..... 2a front and rear cross members.

This looks like bump steer waiting to happen Shocked

It has four new Rancho springs and shocksClap

Also has 11”brakesClap
If the rear fuel tank hung down about 3” less I would like it.

The entire tub floor and fire wall are sheet metal.

I’ve seen some hacked up dash panels...but this is WOW!!  What the crap!

I will need to find a flywheel cover.

Air cleaner says 350.. not familiar with Chevy engines, what’s the easiest way to identify what displacement this one is??

I noticed the front engine plate says Hurst.
