Well folks, I'm making a list and checking it twice. This area which you've now seen a few overhead shots of was going to support around 15 units with a few longer rigs. I'm very pleased you have all indicated how much you would like to attend. We will do this for sure. In my recon of this area , which is very popular with off road folks, I've seen large camper villes doing just what we will do. However------ (that word) we will need to re-locate camp. It must be larger.  When you read this, please indicate your "kit" to me so I can get a much clearer idea of what I need for a location large enough to handle you. We thought Mike's remote outhouse would do the "job" for us, hidden in the woods. I now think that is not going to work. The ideal thing would be to reserve enough spots in the FS Campgrounds to accomodate us. They do not have enough to do this.  We literally need a field with campers that are self contained. So, keep this in mind, and the directions to our Jeeping location remain the same. Camp is going to change. I'll have to get back to you after more planning.  I definitely will need the numbers and sizes attending to do you all a decent job.  I'm at your service. John

John, It’ll be just me in the summer palace I took to Ouray. I’ll be self contained but do need to be level. Wouldn’t want my shower to splash onto the carpeting ....

John, We'll have our truck and enclosed trailer.  It's about 50 feet long when both are connected.  Also need room behind the trailer for unloading and loading the Blue Mule.  Also need about 20 feet out to the passenger side for our canopy.  As far as the outhouse goes, it's easy to build a second one.  Some of the rigs probably come with inside plumbing.  For the rest of us, we can put some more pipe and tarps together... with a bucket...  and a hole.

And Katie, bring a mop!  (messy girl!)

Hey Oilly,

My rig is 30' with a 16'car trailer attached = 46' total.

We are completely self contained but would like to have a fairly level spot but we can adjust the rig with auto jack leveling.

We certainly can unhook the car hauler and park it out of the way. car

I’ll be tenting it. My rooftop tent is gone but I will have my little pup tent and a portable table. I kind of live out of my truck so hopefully I can park it somewhat close to my tent. I’ll need to make use of Mike’s pop up pooper, or I’ll bring a shovel and take a little longer walk.

My wife and I will have our 22 ft self contained cargo hauler. Pulling it with our F150 supercab. We will be arriving early and could possibly secure one of the additional campsites if you need Oily?

Hello John, I'm planning on attending your event. My 46' 3 axle toy hauler needs to set level, so when I extend the slide outs on both side they don't bind. Will also need an unobstructed view of the south sky for the satellite dish can't miss Dr Phil. Will need 50 amp electric hookup, 2 air conditioner units draw a lot of power. Preferably not too far off the pavement, don't like to get things too dusty. Thanks Keith

I'll be using my truck tent and room to cook. I'm not high maintenance as Grumpy.

Oilly:

I'll be staying in my self-contained 8' Alaskan camper in the bed of my 1992 Dodge W250 CTD truck, towing a 15' (overall length) flatbed trailer with the Agrijeep on it.  I can unload the jeep elsewhere before parking the flatbed trailer.  My camper can compensate for slightly uneven ground, although I prefer to be levelheaded.  LOL
Happy Jeep Trails,

You know what I've got - a 1/2 ton Chebbie and a 14' trailer with an awning. I'd like to reserve a spot close to the HBR's.Big smile
For those who have big rigs and trailers as well, I'll volunteer my pickup to help get their trailers to where they need to be.          BW

We will be in our 32' RV with enclosed trailer, 50' total. Trailer can be parked out of the way but it is nice to keep the garage close to the home :) If all this gets to be too much it wouldn't take much to convince Lori to stay at the campground with full hook ups.

Glen, the FS campgrounds do not have full hookups. A nice modern central toilet and a central water tap. 20 bucks a night. Might as well stay with us. We need Izzy and Willy to pet anyway. I'll find us a townsite. LOL

Thanks for your support and willingness to help. I look forward to meeting you two and must warn you, you will become addicted to Jeeping with this group. Wink. We do have much fun together. John
