I want to thank everyone here for all things I have learned on the forum.
I also want to see if I can post a picture. The yellow one is mine. |

Hi Dave,
Welcome to the forum! I assume the vehicles on the left are from your wife's collection? Lets see some more pics of the 2A. |

to many jeeps, parts, and accessories to list here, but apparently enough to keep me in trouble with my wife. |

My wife and daughter drive the wannabes. Here are more pictures of the real jeep. The last one is of the water pump boss. It is a remanufactured engine from the mid 60's.

That's a strange place to stamp a serial number.

I also thought that was a strange place for a number. The engine came from Jeep around 1968. It was painted red and had a "Remanufactured by Jeep" sticker on the valve cover. Any thoughts?

Hey Dave
That's quite the scrappy little CJ and once all tightened-up, you can pass it on to the kids eventually. I figure one of my 3-grown children will wind up with my '46 ... I hope. Our children have so different priorities than us, so they may not want it. Have fun tinkering on that little rascal ! Len |
