It would be 31 hours of driving, each way (if I don't stop to refuel or eat).

Hopefully my Mom and one of my daughters will be joining us, but for now “We” is Dad, Dylan, and myself bringing Rojo and Blueberry.

Bob W, you are a lot of fun to wheel with and it would be super cool if you could join us!

I'll get X98 there if you want to fly.

My spirit will be with you guys but my son-in-law just enlisted and I will be spending the next year moving my daughter and chasing my grandkids.

I'll wave as I fly over. I think I'm travelling from Texas to Ohio that day to load a Uhaul.

Signed up today but it appears the official website was having a few problems early in the day.  I have one question, is the flat fender run on Friday a sanctioned event by EJS?

Thanks,
Dave

The website is like that every year. It gets bombarded as soon as signup is open and it locks up.

The Flat Fender run is not sanctioned. You just show up. No seat belts or roll bar required.   Your flatty should be in dependable running condition.   The group meets in a lot north of town across the road from Denny’s. You need to be there before 9:00.

Jpet,

Thanks.  I think I would like to do a less aggressive run earlier in the week with the flat fender.  It looks like Fins & Things is open Sunday 3/25.  I might give that a try.

Dave,

Brian and I want to do Strike Ravine on Monday. You can do that one in your flatty. Tuesday we want to do Cliffhanger. That one, you will want some lockers.

We are also kicking around the idea of doing Pritchett on Wednesday.

jpet,

I'm signed up for some of the sanctioned runs on Tue, Wed, & Thur. with my JK, but I would be interested in trying Strike Ravine on Monday.  Any interest in doing a warmup run on Fins and Things on Sunday?  I just want to make sure all is good with my '46 before I take on something more.  I'm open to other ideas as well for Sunday.

I hope everyone reading this that is going to EJS in an old flat fender comes out to the Friday Flat Fender Fun Run on March 30th. This is a totally unofficial spontaneous gathering that will be going to 'The Pickle' trail this year. Everyone just happens to show up at 8am to the dirt lot across from Denny's. Plan on being out on the trail all day, bring water and lunch. Please have recovery points on your vehicle if at all possible.

42 MB that had a one night stand with a much younger 69 CJ5 and a 50s GM truck.
