Thanks for the vid Jeff.
We sat at this obstacle for quite a while and watched purpose built buggies with rear steer and gigantic tires struggle through. Brian and Dave made it look like driving over a speed bump. Their jeeps are awesome and their driving skills are the best I've seen. To top it off, they are humble, great people and a pleasure to hang out with.

I'm not sure how the early Scouts fit in, but early Broncos are HUGE compared to Willys Jeeps. I moved from a '75 CJ5 to my '71 Bronco and couldn't believe how much bigger the Bronco was in every dimension. Not saying if that's a good or a bad thing. It was nice to be able to fit my teenaged boys in, as well as being able to fit a cooler behind the back seat. But the smaller CJ5 (which is still probably bigger than a Willys) was more fun on trails.

I went and looked through some more videos and found some that I thought were worth sharing.
Most of this video was taken by Jeff and some if it has been published in other clips. I have added some alternated views from my on board GoPro. It sure is fun looking back on this. I have to apologize to Jeff for misspelling his name in the credits. How embarrassing. Edited to apologize to Jeff for my spelling idiocy.

Great watching the videos of things I'm perhaps to shy to take on. Sort of like cringing when I watch my nephews rock climbing stuff. Believe I'll look for the by-pass, you know, so I can take pictures!

Nice. Cliffhanger trail, Flatties with Flattie people, and Moab Diner ice cream.
Perfect.

Well I have some extra time on my hands so I'm going through some of my photos from EJS and doing some editing. Over the next couple of days, I'll post some of the photos that I've spent some time developing. I mostly use Photoshop Lightroom and some of the Nik Effects plug-ins for Lightroom.

Hello all, I know some time has passed since the EJS 2018, but I wanted to pass along a story that Traci Clark recently published for Jp Magazine / Fourwheeler.com that covered the Friday Flat Fender run at The Pickle. I think Traci did a great job covering the event and there are some great photos and a video documenting her coverage. The article is called "Flatfender Frenzy 2018".
