Want to thank everyone who came and shared a wonderful weekend with Lonnie and me. What a blessing to have such great jeep loving friends. We have an update on Lonnie shattered heel. X-rays show new bone growth beginning in heel area. Doctor was stunned and excited with this news as much as we were. Lonnie definitely has someone above on his side. His first comment was "Can I go fishing" and I'll make that jeep ride next year". Can't keep a good man down...
We still are in a wheelchair, no weight on left foot for several more weeks, and then several months of Physical Therapy and indefinite use of a walker. Still, we'll take it. Wishing everyone a great close of 2018...

That is AWESOME news and so glad ya’ll shared it with us.

Lonnie- when you are ready to go fishing, I know a well stocked private pond, with blacktop access and a pier, about an hour from your door. Just holler and we’ll go. You won’t have to bring a thing, just be ready to set the hook and reel in!

Ok guys I have a Jeep question , does the front differential grease run from left spindle to right spindle ? Or are they separate ? It appears that they all run in the same fluid.

They're separate and the oil is supposed to stay in the differential.  There are seals that should keep it all separate, but after 70 years...
