Great Videos and pics Rick! I love how you airbrushed the sky to match the jeep! Love the Palo Duro area, it makes me think of Billy Dixon and his early Texas history with other buffalo hunters at Adobe Walls. Lots of canyons to hide or get lost in
I always wanted to do the jeep jamboree trip back when I lived in TX just never had the cash avail with two growing boys and jeep projects to work on. Edited by jeeper50 - 30 Mar. 2019 at 9:48pm |

That kid in the canyon was scaring the crap out of me. He seemed to be in the way and not aware of the potential for danger.
Fun videos, though! The new top is nice. I didn't recognize Gus when I first saw it.

Thx, George. I made the top myself. It’s my “summer” top. A full top with doors is in the future, but for now this one will work. It sure changes the look of ol’ Gus, but I’m really liking the shade and rain protection aspect of it👍🏼

Very interesting to see the terrain difference in other parts of the country.

Here's another video. Not too much of me doing obstacles but lots of views of the terrain. One more to come after this one.

No, these guys don’t film as much as we do. Yep, a working CB and a fire extinguisher are requirements of club membership. I’m working on a couple of other videos right now. Will get them posted as soon as I can.

Cool video, but it needed more Gus I guess your friends don’t film as much as we do? Is the CB a club requirement?

Here's the first video of our work trip. These were a couple of easy trails that the Jamboree runs each year. The scenery is pretty nice.

Traditionally we like to keep at least THREE wheels on the ground.
Or if one must resort to just two wheels on the ground, it has been our experience that two wheels on the same axle are better than two wheels on different axles. Jest for future reference. Nice pics!!!
