According to conversation! You may not have all summer to play with it. There has been talk of multiple jeep outings this year with the jeep family mentioned! So the rumor mill points to some early invites to monthly get together rides. Maybe some southern trips.

It's running right now.....that's all I can say.  Gonna have to work on the brakes a little between now and then......I've got too much!  Either adjusted up too tight or something else. (after driving it awhile) The parade didn't bother it . The weather was cold plus slow speed kept them from heating up. Got all summer to play with it. |

As I told Marilyn, I've got the easy job. She and Lonnie are doing all the writing and I'm just cutting and pasting. I'm sure that they could use some words of encouragement. Writing is hard work and this is a busy time of year.
I had a quick visit with them a couple of weeks ago to talk about the project. So I've had a glimpse of some of the stories to come and I'm amazed at what these two have done to preserve this history. Believe me, it will be worth the wait. Barry

This should be interesting. Although I have been helping on the jeeps for a while, it will be awesome to read all the story at one time and have my own images of what his experiences could have looked like. Thanks for the interest and time your goin to put into this! |
