Please forgive my dip into religion, but it has Jeep involvement.

Recently in church we were discussing “trials,” mostly along the lines of trials make us stronger if we turn to God. My wife said she didn’t like the word “trials” because it seemed to her that trials usually ended with someone going to jail. She prefers the word “challenges.” Working through challenges increases strengths, experience, wisdom and occasionally results in some measure of glory. I replied “kind of like obstacles in a Jeep.”
Then I thought if this little parable. I hope that some if you enjoy it.

This was the only good picture of Grampa's Jeep getting a tug I could find. 
There just aren't that many out there. Wink

I think it's safe to assume that Grandpa's Jeep was pulling Blueberry through the water since GJ has the NDTs

   So true right !

   i met the Master my first trek into the Rubicon back in 1983. He drove a straight Black flat-fender with nice 350 chevy and Sm420 granny-box.
He was parked at the bottom of the pass-around at the north of the little-sluice-box. He ran solo, and being my first trip into the Rubicon, I had questions for the "master."
   I asked him how he was able to keep his little willys so-straight with no dents.   His response: don't listen to your buddies when they say to back-up and gas-it.   We know where that leads to. He said to not be afraid to toss a few rocks to aid in crawling up and over an obstacle.
   Also, too, he explained the importance of low-gearing for that trail. so, of course that winter I purchased a Novak T-18 kit for my CJ-7.
   He was a "master" of sorts with valuable wisdom that he shared.

   We all greatly benefit from Masters and Mentors.

Looking at the photo of Bridog and Blueberry, what is it about the magnetic attraction of mudpuddles and men.   :)   They naturally attract.

 What a great message for all to follow the Master, and follow his line thru life's trails and it is always good to resort to a tug from Him to help out when we need it. 
 I think the pic is a good choice when an experienced trail rider needs the Masters help
