Help! I got a twin stick PRO that I was told came off. Dyna 18. Only problem is the data plate is in Japanese I think and the bolts that connect to the transfer case are metric and not what I would expect I will upload pictures later

Hi, MC...welcome to the forum. Sounds like pics are going to be a must. Only thing that pops to mind is mitsubishi "3b"s, but that's way above my paygrade

Could not load pictures at work connection was too slow. Here they are. Note the square headed plugs have to remove them then use an Allen wrench to unscrew the bolts attaching to the transfer case

The guy I got it from swears it came off a dyna 18. I don’t have one near to check. But being metric I kinda don’t think so and the bolts being special. Not sure what I can do with it

Welcome to the page, MikeCampbell! That looks like a highly useful accessory. You can find the proper hardware to make use of the unit. It might take a bit of searching but it's gotta be available somewhere. You could also drill and tap and/or Heli-Coil the holes to English threads if absolutely necessary.

Looks like a twin stick Koenig! Might be an export or a copy of the Koenig. But really looks like a Koenig twin stick.
Take a look through this post.

I agree, a Koehing copy, no doubt with Mitsubishi, Mahindra in the Jeep buisines in past years there were also PTO options for those as well. The metric mounting bolts are not an issue. Nice find 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Thanks for the information. Looking on line I see where they use normal bolts. They should be easy to find. The ones in this are different see this pic. Notice how long the head is. But I guess that doesn’t matter

Mike,
I just updated my PTO Webpage and took another look at your PTO a little more closely... So this is what it is and unsure if it is a licensed Koenig by Showa or not. I've found many Mitsubishi J-Series Jeeps on the web sporting a Koenig like winch so it may have been made for this purpose. Just not any actual images or documentation that I've found so this may me a first. I added it to my website today: http://48cj2a.com/PTOs.htm |

That is it. The name Showa, is a little different. But that could just be the western spelling. Aircraft Industry is the same translation I got from a Chinese here in St. louis and a Japanese at the airport in Japan when I came back in January. Thanks

If you go to their webpage the company logo pretty much makes it official. I emailed the company thru their website for possible information.
