   Will a Ford V6 3.0 bolt to the transmission in my 1947 Willy’s? I am a novice at this.

	Not familiar of the ease of doing that motor swap. Parts might be tuff to find. A more common V-6 swap is the Buick 225 V-6. Lots of after market goodies for this swap and there is tons of information on it here and on-line. it's brothers the 231 and the 252 will work well too. PERSONALLY, I like the 252 V-6 that with a better cam and a little compression up-grade is a good motor swap.

	Novak has the information and hard ware for engine and transmission swaps. information@novak-adapt.com They had what I needed to put a 2300cc Pinto engine into my 52 M38.

	I gotta go with if you're "a novice at this", I'd go down a well traveled path where the work has been done rather than the path least traveled, such that many of the pitfalls, bumps and bruises have been sorted and resorted. (The problems are always easier if you start with the answers) .02

	I had the Buick "odd fire" V6 in a M38 I owned about 30 years ago. Used a GM bell housing in that swap, along with the longer transmission input shaft from a Willys truck or wagon (don't remember which). It was a good fit.
	If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!
