When I purchased my 48 CJ2A in 2019, it came with the 2' extender. I haven't used it yet, but it's there if and when I need it. I've always wondered if there should be a brace to support the rear of the extender. What do you use for the braces? Is that something you can share with me or do you sell them? Thanks, David

The original Koenig model 3J90 used tubes. When I make reproduced ones I use 3/4" metal electric conduit with the ends pressed and bent.

Jim, Appreciate your help and suggestion with someone who has actually built them. Will get right on it.

Just checking to see if you guys are still making these extensions. They look awesome...!! I would like a 12'' (short) version... I see your post with pictures from April 13, 2020. Chris 305 498-6723

Guys I've been offline for a spell and just received some of the PM sent for the bed extensions! We lost a family member who started the whole jeep thing for us(Cheap Jeep on the forum) and kinda got side tracked dealing with the loss and the jeep inventory that had to be sorted through. We have guys that have recently asked for some so I will check the schedule in our machine shop and when we could kick a few more out.

Hello,
I am sorry to hear you lost a family member. Please accept my condolences. I would like to get a 2ft extender for my '48 CJ2-A. What would shipping to California zip code 95060 be? Thanks Ernie Williams 831 426 5770

Guys just bare with us and we will see what we can do. I will have to reflect on the material cost though. If you notice these were produced a few years back and it's obvious the world has gone nuts. But we will give the best we can if we can't match the previous!

If the rear bed extender is less than $750 I’d be interested in one as I am not getting any younger

I would be interested in one myself. I don’t know if it would work but possibly I could pick it up at the CFCT? I know it’s a long shot but you never know until you ask. I don’t do much shipping but I have to guess that shipping (and packaging for shipping) would be significant.
