Hi All
could I make a suggestion that a section is opened up for UK members, this would make it easier for UK members to see who is in their area and make contact. I think it would help built a UK network yet staying within the CJ2Apage.com forum, which would be good for buying and selling spares in the UK as buying in from overseas is painfully expensive on postage (postage usually costs more than the item). I know that there are a number of UK based jeep guys on this forum (don't know how many) or where they are. This is just an idea so if guys would like to throw in their thoughts If this is a none starter and I get shot down well I tried Regards |

I used to read the,HMVF forum and it looked like there was more old WWII vehicles there than over here. A jeep is another matter.

Got mine about 6 months ago. Lots of bits missing and a lot of holes and replacement repairs to do till I’m Road worthy. Still it’s a great project. Like your tribute colours, did you do it all yourself? Front of mine. Missing some bits

I saw summet the other day about an all Jeep event at the end of August I will have to look it out. Im sure it said something about camping and evening entertainment. |

I was looking for a WW2 jeep but you get what you can afford.
This one came up, a bloke at Burnham imported it from California USA, but I think when it arrived it was not what he wanted. When I got it there was quiet a bit wrong, lots of electrical problems which are now all sorted, bad oil leak from the sump and lots of bits missing. There is a story behind this jeep but to much to write, I also have a photo diary of the rebuild. The Pin up is of a genuine WW2 pin up but it is named after my mam who died. Where do you get your parts? |
