So I picked these up recently, trying to sort out exactly what I have here...found a little background here:

As with so many of the older threads, most others I found are full of broken picture links, so any feedback is appreciated Thumbs Up

.
The last pic I'm straining to try and see "May 07 (46)?" in the smudged ink, but I picked them up not realy knowing what they were, except cool 6v 7" rounds with a fixed bulb behind the "sealed" lense.  One has 615 cast in at the top, the other 713.  Any info past CB was part of AL and these may be period correct replacements would be greatly appreciated Smile

I emailed you some confusing documentation.

Based on Joe DeYoung's earlier post from the parts list, I looked up the various part numbers.

The 640837, 117730, 644449, and 649754 were listed.

The 640837 is a Corcoran Brown #CB 10583
The 117730 is a Tung-Sol # 4030
The 649754 is ALSO the # CB 10583, but I SUSPECT with the dot in the center as of 7-28-49 or there abouts.

More to follow

Thanks, K... so most likely never original equipment. I'm finding a lot of mopar references but under other numbers than the 615/713.  The grid of the lenses is identical, but the fresnel angles are different...wondering if headlights were ever passenger/drivers side specific, but guessing these are two peas from different pods

644449 was the Hall Lamp Company #24161 There was a left and right lamp ASSEMBLY, in this case, 644447 was left, and 644448 was right.

I would run them as period correct service lamps

Much appreciated! That fits with Joe's earlier post, where 649754 shows up in the 1950 parts list specifically as "Autolite", as well as the fact that the gentleman I got the lights from was a 3A guy Smile

Quietly assembling the bits to convert 12v back to 6v, so for now these'll sit a spell.  High and low work on both so I have no plans to relamp them.

Thanks again Thumbs Up
