Still trying to figure the acceleration circuit issue I have, but I did get a period speedometer attached, looks nice and works well! Also got my fuel guage hooked up which works good at idle but when going faster it pegs to full. I managed to get my dash light working as well! I found the correct oil line from filter to timing cover which I'll replace later just not feeling it today

Not my old jeep but I finally hit 100,000 miles on my Jeep JKU 75th anniversary edition! It's a strange feeling, bittersweet, and strange to explain... but a good milestone to hit. And no issues at all! (Knocks on wood)

Working on rebuilding my old spare transmission, currently have the case cleaned and ready for a rebuild, it is painted and now I have to find what to order from novak. I'll get pictures of it later.

Jeep started running like crap, I suspect debris in the carb because it was all the sudden out of nowhere... I'll be putting a carter fuel filter on it

Ummmm...interesting transmission. Didn't know Willys ever installed one of those as a factory option!

Been working on putting the fuel filter on the carb.

It's been running like crap and the pump has alot of debris in it, so in working on the carb.... AGAIN!

Modified my work bench to be a more presentable service desk

Any tips on how to fix this? Its the mb style exhaust and I feel like if I tried to push it up the proper amount it would break a weld

Remove the skid plate and tuck the exhaust up were it belongs.  You may need to remove the exhaust from the muffler to during this process to get it line up properly.  Then put the skid plate back on. Lastly there is a clamp that mounts the exhaust to the center of the skid plate.

My usual process is to take the exhaust and slide it through the hole between the skid plate and the bell housing with the skid plate installed.  Then hook the exhaust to the exhaust manifold - then hook up the muffler and lastly the skid plate clamp.

Got my fuel lines and filter all hooked up, but something is leaking on the filter, I suspect it's the joint bween filter and carb. I'll work on the adjustment tomorrow

Either way I ran my jeep for a few minutes and it idled good, but after I shutdown I looked around and noticed it was smoky and then I realized "great scott!" I left the garage door closed.

My smell has been gone since january so all I can smell is concentrated gas and pinsol

At midnight too, my wife wouldnt have known.

It's called a carbon monoxide detector, available at most big-box hardware stores. Get two.

Good luck!

I think I'll have to remember to open the garage door if I plan on being out there. I was tired and my last two brain cells weren't on the same page
