This is a complete original early front bow and rod set less door frames and the center rod. Has rivot stops on the bows. The door handles are on the vertical rods. Looking to trade these for a 3a top bow and rod set. I would be interested in any or all 3a/ 3b top parts but mainly the front bows. If your not interested in a swap I will buy your unused 3a/3b top parts. Complete or partial sets. Just let me know what kinda 3a/3b top parts you got . These early 2A bows that I have are not for sale at this time. Edited by oldtime - 01 May 2021 at 4:24pm |

Ken,
Do you know how to tell the difference between 2A and 3A Bows? I have a set I've been saving but honestly don't know which they are although I do have late ones on my 482A I could compare them to.

AFAIK and you know too that all 3a had punch tabs.
I think it likely that all 3a were olive drab and all 2A were black. |

Late 2A and all 3A/3B bows had holes drilled in them for the side curtain stiffener rods....

Yes I noticed that these early 2A upright bows don’t have a side curtain rod hole.
Did they not use side curtain rods ? And do you know the length of the 3/8” diameter 3A side curtain rods ? I need to cut me a couple of them.
