Looks like a good project. Nice 4.3 v6.  A modified vs. stock Willys will handle completely diff.  My stock 2A struggles over 45, but can do 50-60 down hill.  I recently hit 80 on the highway with my mod. 3b.  It's a ride, let me tell you.   Old tires and worn steering components all lead to handling issues.  A steering conversion is a must for highway driving, as well as better brakes.

Yes, going to redo brakes this fall/winter.  New dual master cylinder for sure, was thinking about disk brakes up front. Saw this on an auction two years ago in Seattle Washington,  I missed getting it. I bought it from the guy that got it back than.
