My wife and I watched the grandkids today . .  in  trying to keep grandson busy, and set him in the seat of old Jeep. He spun the steering wheel back an forth a bunch of times, tried beep the horn, but then eventually stood up.
This photo is -> "ok . . I can see out the windshield now" . . "time to fire it up" Smile

So true.. I really like Ben's posts of his little guy!

My grandson has some traits of future Jeeper.  At 14 months,  he seems to be so inquisitive, mechanical, and fearless. .  a true Jeeper.  haha

Now grampa just needs to find a Hamilton Pedal JEEP so the little guy can keep the WILLYS Thing in his blood.

I was infected at 4-1/2

Both my kids each have their own power wheels Jeeps and the first thing they ask when we go outside is if I can put the batteries in the Jeeps.  They tool all over the property in them while I work on the XJ, CJ5 and 2A.  My son is constantly asking to go for a "Jeep Ride" from the time I come home from work to the time we go to bed.

In 10 more years I may be adding a few more project Jeeps to the driveway to give us time to get them going before they get their driver's licenses.

OK, so while we are admiring young "Jeeper-Kids" in this thread, I'll keep it alive:

My son's daughter was two when I took the following photo of her, 2-summers back.
I salvaged or actually saved the Willys pickup box from going to the scrapper in 2014.

above photo of my only grand child -  a future "Girl Jeeper" with any luck.
I am breaking her in early so she gets a "feel" of a Willys hands-on (the tailgate).

Ahhh, the real reason behind the Ross box----------

Nice!  I think I was 5 years old when my father bought the 47 2A in 1950.  It was a similar experience and for sure an introduction to a life long addiction to both Jeeps and mountains.
