Hi lads it's been years since I've been on here, hopefully it's the same great site as when I left.

I sold my 2a must have been 10 years ago, I was wondering how it is and who owns it, any info would be great.

Hi Matt,

I don't know if you are aware but Ralph passed away 3 years ago:

Ralph Young had a plane crash

I know he owned the jeep at that time. I'm not sure what happened after. Perhaps johnnybravo knows.

Oh that's very sad news, he was a super nice gentleman.

Thanks for the photo, looks like he was replacing a manifold gasket on the old girl. I love to see any other photos if anyone has any. Would also love to know where the jeep is now, if it's still in the family or if it was sold.

Thanks for the update

Glad you checked in. Don't give up, I found a jeep I used to own with a post very similar to yours.

Take care....good luck with he search. Is the intent to take it to Ireland or just curiosity?

I called the law firm Ralph was a partner in and gave them my contact info. The secretary is going to pass it on to his with, Cathy. Maybe she will call me back. She is a nice lady.

Thanks for the help, my first intention was just curiosity but now seems there could be more to this than even I thought. I remember him telling me he was a lawyer and mainly dealt with creditor harassment cases, it was interesting stuff.

Funny how things happen,
