This speedo came in my 2A.  I suspect a 3A may have donated parts to it and the speedo may be one of those parts as a 2A only should go to 70 mph; correct?  If so can someone ID this speedo?

Of course it doesn't work & I suspect a cable will be the starting point in getting the speedo to operate again but if I do fix the speedo with a cable will it read the MPH correctly?  Also are there other "weak points" I should be aware of with speedos and how do I check for those?

Thanks!

I know! I was looking at some 2A,3A/B, catalogs and more and didn't see a speedo like it either.

You must have scored one of the rare 80 MPH jeeps!

Is the wfo in your handle here "wide fully open"?

It is. But the WFO was reserved for motorcycles...or so I thought, until I got my 2A on the road.

It is NOT a Jeep Willys! It is a Willys jeep.
