Well my Wife can be quite the smart @$$ and needs a crown replaced. If I could only take you up on that and I would not be rich by any means, but definitely less broke.Wink

I was just joking around with my dentist that she really needs to get a Porsche 911. I thought all dentists drove 911's. She laughed and said she has an old Grand Cherokee and could care less about cars as long as they get her to work and back. What is this world coming to?

More importantly, I'll be there Friday too.

If anyone has an old, original style floor headlight Dimmer Switch (that still "clicks") please bring it - I need one of those. Thanks. Getting close!

What brand and style did the early CJ's use?  I think I have an MB one (Douglas) that I can part with but I'd have to check.

I took my 48 CJ-2A's dimmer and the headlamp switches apart back in Sept, cleaned, lubed and reassembled them - working great now.

I've been doing that too.  The new stuff isn't nearly as good so it's worth the effort.

That's why I'd like to find an old one. Most of mine is MIA, just got the foot button left.

I don't really know anyone, but I remember at the last one everybody was friendly and you've got the best garage/museum in the state.  If there's room for one more I'd sure like to attend
