Transfer case cleanup and paint, plus test fitting some shiny new Novak parts. Still waiting on a replacement intermediate gear before I can rebuild it.

I was able to get the bearings out fairly easily with a $5 2 jaw puller that I modified.

A bigger parts washer would have helped

Masked and ready for paint. The angle grinder had enough and something wanted out.

My counter bore bit showed up in the mail today and I had a few minutes so I started to stud the knuckles. I tried an end mill in my drill press but I couldn't keep it centered, with the pilot on the counter bore it only took a few minutes per knuckle with my drill press.

From my research, "4LR" was the prefix for a factory rebuilt L-134. I have one in my GPW.

Almost ready to rebuild the gear boxes, I just need to run a few more pieces through the parts washer.
